"Easy enough for a non-editor like me"
I used Promo.com to put together a quick video, it was simple to get the hang of. I’m not really someone who’s great at editing or design stuff, but the templates made it feel a lot less intimidating, if that makes sense. I found what I needed quickly and didn’t have to spend a ton of time figuring everything out

"Pretty good, even if the limits get in the way"
It’s still good overall. There are a few limits that kind of hold it back, and I’d blame those for keeping it from being great, but I still had a solid experience with it.

"Works, but I felt a bit let down"
The audio works fine, so I can’t really complain about that part. But the options feel limited, and it kind of feels like I got stuck with less than I expected. I was hoping for more flexibility, but once again it seems like I just have to make do with what’s there

"Started off strong, then got a little hit-or-miss"
Promo.com did help me get some leads, so at first I was happy with it. I was like, okay, this might actually work. But then some of the videos just didn’t really land for my business, and the results ended up being mixed. So yeah, I’m glad I tried it, but I wouldn’t say every piece was a win.

"Decent, but the rendering feels a bit unpredictable"
Promo.com has been okay for me overall. My gut reaction is that it works fine for simple projects, but the rendering can feel kind of inconsistent. Sometimes my videos are ready faster than I expect, and other times I’m sitting there wondering why it’s taking so long. It’s especially noticeable when I’m just making a tiny edit and have to re-render everything. Not a bad tool, just doesn’t feel quite as smooth or reliable as I hoped it would.

promo has been smooth for me so far. Uploads don’t freeze or hang, and the editing is simple enough that I didn’t have to overthink anything. I made a few clips without running into issues, isn’t that what you want from a tool like this? It’s been way easier than some of the other options I’ve tried

"Really easy to use on my phone"
I used promo mostly on my phone it was smooth. Pages loaded really fast, and I didn’t have to keep zooming in or dealing with super tiny buttons, which was a big plus. Making a short video was easy enough even while I was on the bus. I could change the text, preview everything, and save it without any weird problems. It’s not perfect, but it was way easier than I expected for mobile. I’d definitely use it again.

"Surprisingly easy for quick videos"
I tried Promo.com for a few short videos I needed to put together, the templates were better than I expected. I was half-watching my coffee go cold while using it, and I still managed to make something that looked clean and not super cheesy. I did have to tweak some of the text here and there, but overall it saved me a bunch of time and made it easy to create something decent fast.

"Helpful support, but the site could be clearer"
Customer support was quick in helping me sort out my issue, which I definitely appreciated. That said, the site itself was a little confusing to navigate, and I ended up having to ask for help twice, not the end of the world, but still a bit annoying. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just not quite as smooth as I hoped.

"Easy to get started with"
I signed up for promo the onboarding was painless. I didn’t spend ages trying to figure out where everything was, and the steps made sense without throwing too much at me all at once. The tutorials were actually helpful too, especially since I’m not someone who makes videos all the time. I did have to poke around a little to get comfortable, but overall it was simple and not stressful. Then suddenly I realized, wait, I’m actually making a video without getting annoyed. So yeah, solid experience

I needed to cancel my plan it went really smoothly. No long phone calls, no confusing steps, none of that hassle. It was finished in just a few minutes, and the support person was polite too. No complaints from me.

"Decent overall, but the glitches are frustrating"
promo works fine most of the time, but I’ve had a few annoying moments where pages loaded really slowly or my work didn’t save properly. Support did help eventually, which I appreciate, but it still cost me time and was frustrating. It’s not a bad platform, I just wish it was more reliable. with issues like that, I’d expect some kind of credit or compensation for the inconvenience.

"I really like how many video…"
I really like how many video clips, music options, and templates they have. It kind of feels like they knew people like me would get annoyed trying to make posts from scratch, so they packed in enough stuff to keep me from overthinking it. Definitely makes creating posts a lot less of a hassle.

"Got back into my account fast"
I was having trouble getting into my account and literally thought it was going to turn into a whole hassle. Support got back to me quickly, helped me reset everything, and I was back in the same day. It was a bit annoying at first, but it’s all good now

Sharing stuff works well, so no big complaints there. But the comments can get a little confusing sometimes, like I’ll be trying to follow who said what or where the conversation is going and suddenly I’m kind of lost. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something I noticed while using it.

I’ve been using promo mostly to make quick little ads for my small shop, and it’s been really helpful. The templates save me a ton of time, and I can switch up the text, colors, and music without getting totally stuck or overthinking it. It’s not perfect every single time, like sometimes I still tweak things a bit, but overall it’s way faster than starting from scratch. I actually made a few Facebook and Instagram ads in one afternoon, which was kinda a relief tbh
